Printed Sportswear Alberta

Before choosing a method to produce your printed sportswear in Alberta, you need to pay attention to your customer’s needs first. Each method has its unique advantages over the others. There are at least, two common custom t-shirt and apparel printing methods.

Some customers know the different printing methods available for custom-made sportswear and if they can’t get what they want from your company, they might slip away. Ideally, a printing company should be capable of meeting client’s needs in the best possible way, and this includes making provision for different printing methods for them to choose from.

Screen Printing

Screen printing (AKA silkscreen printing) is probably the most established, popular, and most used sportswear printing method. The method involves the use of screens to apply ink on the jersey. You’ll need a nylon mesh and a stencil for this method to work. The method guarantees a perfect replication of the custom design, making it the ideal method for printing high-quality t-shirts and sportswear. It gives your customers an impressive appearance that’ll make them keep coming for more. Screen-printed sportswear in Alberta is very durable and they think inks used in this method have helped keep its vibrancy for several years.

Screen printing in Alberta is the best in terms of efficiency and speed. Once the screen is available, some machines can print as many as 4,600 sportswear items in one hour. The method also allows you to mix any colors you want for unique design finishes.

Dye Sublimation

Dye sublimation works better on light shirts or fabrics. The cost of producing a dye substrate may be high, but the consumer receives a professionally done shirt from experts in the end. To get the best results from this process, you'll need a thorough understanding of dye sublimation. Dye sublimation is ideal for printing polyester fabrics such as cream but doesn’t work well on cotton fabrics. You'll need a liquid dye for this method. When the moisture comes into contact with the polyester cloth, it dries out. When it has fully dried and solidified on the cloth, you may apply heat and pressure to allow sublimation to take place.

As heat and pressure are added to a piece of rigid fabric, it converts into a gas. The fabric molecules then stretch, allowing the gas to pass into the gaps in the material. When the heat is removed, the molecules contract once again. Sublimated shirts are both sturdy and attractive.

Direct to Garments (DTG)

Like screen printing, DTG is also common among hobbyists. The process is easy, but it would take experience and expertise if you do not want to hire professional help. It just needs a textile printer and ink to work. DTG works in a similar way to an office paper printer. The main distinction is that the dye is applied to the fabric in this situation. You must first save the template to your computer, which will give it individuality and imagination. DTG is an excellent choice for printing promotional products in Alberta with super-complex designs. When you touch the finished design, it gives you a soft feeling between your palms. Since the shirt is lightweight, the ink used would not produce dense additional layers. It does, though, have one flaw. If you use a low-quality textile printer, you can end up with a low-resolution template with dot patterns. Since the ink is small and won't show up well on dark cloth, you can't use this technique to make a pattern.
